So I hope to see you this Sunday at the Old Town Tustin show. It's a small show but you won't be disappointed. And speaking of birds....
My bird's nest collection...I never planned to collect real bird's nest, but over the years, it seems like I just kinda came across old ones. We found one of them when we were clearing out a "jungle" of an area at our old house that the previous owners had let go wild with brush. My dad found one on some land that my parents own in Liberty, Texas and the tiny one on the stick is one I found on the ground when I was walking my daughter home from school years ago. I was told it was a hummingbird's nest. The bird stick nest is one is one from my sister's home in Texas. They live in a farm area and she said they have them every year in all their trees on their land. PS....I would never take a bird's nest if I thought it was still being used.
Thanks to all of you who have been buying my burlap pillows. I know you have lots of choices to buy your pillows and I really appreciate your business. I also especially appreciate when I hear back from you after you rec'd your order telling me how much you love them. It means a great deal for me to hear this! Here is a link to many of the pillows I currently have in stock!

MEMORIAL DAY.... Please Remember...
Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day because it was a time set aside to honor the nation's Civil War dead by decorating their graves. It was first widely observed on May 30, 1868, to commemorate the sacrifices of Civil War soldiers. Today, Memorial Day is celebrated at Arlington National Cemetery with a ceremony in which a small American flag is placed on each grave.

Ooooooooooh I love the look on Brinkley's face! It's like she's saying "ok, I know you have work to do, but I would like a little attention as well!" *smiles*
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and safe holiday weekend.
Hi, Rose! I'm Roxanne. I live in Abilene Texas and I found your blog while visiting Heather's! I met Heather at Warrenton last year. She is so sweet. I love your pillows! What a great look. A must have! I'll wait until you reveal the bird pillows before deciding. I also must say the obvious...your children are gorgeous. We also have two girls and a boy, but ours are in their 20's. I'll visit often. I hope you won't mind if I place you on my blog list.
